Modular Plans
I have no plans to build any further On30 modules but I own a small collection of Tri-ang buildings which I would like to set on a small layout to reflect what railway modelling looked like back in the 1960s when I first got interested in trains. The most compact way of doing this would be to make a OO scale module, as part of the CRM club layout, using the technology and techniques contempory with the old buildings.
Layout Plans
534th Street (HO scale) will be the first job to see any progress, at some time in 2010. Also planned for 2010 is a small American 10mm scale layout, Rebel Ridge.
Altgarten (N scale) is still in need of scenic renovation and replacement of the overhead wires. This job has been on the books for a couple of years now but keeps getting put off because I find N scale less appealling as I grow older. However, I do want to see my collection of German trains running again so the layout will be repaired sooner or later.
There is a partially built OO microlayout in the shed and I may decide to replace the buildings on it making a compact British industrial shunting layout once work on the three layouts above models has been completed.
Another idea that I have is to resurrect the Hayfinch Estate Light Railway, transposed to an overseas location, but still using fishing line power as with previous incarnations of the HELR, this idea is still being developed but I am certail that it will come to fruition so I have started a fresh page on the website for it..
