O scale (narrow gauge) - Pampas and Fernandez
Ferrocarril Consolidado Pampa y Fernandez, the Pampas and Fernandez Consolidated Railway, is my main exhibition layout at present. It is On30 scale and shows a small town centre passenger station somewhere in South America (click here to find out more). The station, Cuarto de Pulgada, forms a layout six feet long and one foot wide including fiddleyard and the arid scenery makes it stand out from the crowd as something very different.
O scale - Lyddlow
Lyddlow is my little O scale standard gauge layout. Just a couple of sidings but the use of three link couplings means that shunting takes almost as much time as it does with real trains. The layout is mainly a showcase for my small collection of locos and rolling stock in O scale but can be operated as a stand alone model or with other microlayouts as part of a combined display, Lyddlow is five feet long and one foot wide including fiddleyard.
